CUTIE KOREAN FASHION

angelica's avatarcutieshirts

K-fashion? Haven’t you heard? The world is raving about all things ‘K’ (Korean), quite literally. K-Pop for the music lovers, K-Drama for the couch potatoes, and K-Beauty for the makeup junkies. K-Fashion is up next, and that’s why the fashion compass is slowly but steadily turning its needle towards the East from West. This is why it is not surprising to know that Seoul Fashion Week, which started in 2013, is a thing now and has designers flying there from all over the world.

Botticelli Venus vs Korean Fashion

Laura's avatarfair amber

Once upon a time I moved to far far east, and, before coming here, to South Korea, I didn’t really care about my style. I was comfortable and that was all to it. It took at least few years to get inspired to care for myself a tad more. But it’s not that simple as it may seem at first…

South Korea is a hub of Asian fashion, especially thanks to k-pop music. Korean fashion trends are apparent in Korean society as people pay a great attention to what they wear and what it represents with younger generation eagerly following their beloved k-pop idols styles. And, oh boy do they spend money on the newest huge Fila sneakers or that Luis Vuitton designer bag (I still wonder where do they get the money from..).

However it doesn’t mean I jumped straight into all this fashion craze and totally changed my…

♡ BTOB: The talented yet underrated kpop group you should stan now ♡

Clarissa's avatarSeoulisticPro

< topic of my own >

I was not really into KPOP back then, until I watched a kdrama- Who are you: School 2015. One of the main charcters, actually the 2nd male lead- Gong tae kwang caught my attention. I just probably liked his cool personalities considering he was a happy-go-lucky guy who all wanted was causing trouble, who didn’t make others know the struggling painful life behind his angelic smile. Plus his looks, no one can deny, he really has this attractive face every fangirl would notice. So of course, I wanted to know him more, that’s why I did a research and discovered that his real name is Yook sung Jae and is actually part of a kpop group BTOB who has 7 members and had debuted in 2012.

I watched some of BTOB’s music vidoes, listened to some of their songs, and even read articles about…

K-DRAMA REVIEW(s): Dream Knight & To Be Continued // web series starring two kpop groups i adore

withlovesavannah's avatarThe Book Prophet

I asked my Twitter followers about what posts they’d like to see through a poll. Discussion won, but since I knocked that off of the list I thought that I might as well write the posts in order of the amount of votes they got so here I am! The second and third results were K-Drama and K-Pop, respectively, so being the efficient human bean I am, why not somehow combine them both into one post? I’m creative so I chose two web series that I’ve watched and here’s the thing – they both have K-Pop groups as the main stars! Smart, aye?

A Look At Some Of My Favorite Kpop Dance Practice MVs.

kpopjacketlady's avatarKPOP Jacket Lady

Those of you who are on my Facebook page know how much I love dance practice videos, sometimes even more than the official music videos. So today I decided to share some of my favorites. This is by no means a ‘best of’ list, just some of the ones I like and go back to again and again.

Right now I’m really enjoying iKON’s Killing Me.  There’s something about the way they are using their hands and arms as well as their whole bodies. A lot of the moves look simple although I doubt they are, and they fit the music perfectly. I find it slightly hypnotic and been watching it daily since it came out.

NCT is particularly noted for their dancing ability and I could easily choose more than one of their videos to be on this list, but NCT U edges ahead with Boss. Again…
